Israel is in the midst of a war that has seen the largest single day massacre of Jews since the holocaust. Many villages along the borders with Lebanon and Gaza have been forced to evacuate. Tens of thousands of Israelis, both Jews and Arabs, must relocate. Families are out of work; children are home from school; the immediate future is uncertain. There is a need for food, housing, and supplies. In conjunction with ABWE workers and national partners, this fund will provide much needed relief, as well as a message of hope and peace that comes from the gospel  as it is shared along with meeting very practical needs
