We recently went to Lombok, one of the bigger islands in Indonesia. Many of the people there are Muslim, and they are very faithful and knowledgeable in Islam.

We went there with four of our leaders—E., myself, and four of our church leaders. We worked with an American team, which included two Indonesians.

We went out and shared the Gospel with people on the beaches, in the city, and in the streets. We also visited the big Islamic Center right in the middle of the city, and I shared the Gospel with a guide in the mosque.

Thank God, it was a big opportunity and a great experience for our leaders to have this mission trip.

We met many Christians who were formerly Muslim and are now new in their faith. We encouraged them, blessed them, and had a few Bible studies with them. We had open conversations where they could ask us questions about the Trinity and the Bible.

In Lombok, there are no church buildings, so Christians gather in small groups. We visited many of these groups and encouraged them. We had a lot of walks with prayer.

We are planning to go back next time with a focus on discipleship, training leaders, and developing new leaders. Please pray for us for our next trip.
