Canada Post has resumed mailing services but there is a considerable backlog of mail in the system. Canada Post is not guaranteeing delivery of mail in any specific time frame for the rest of December and January.
We wanted to remind you that if you mail a donation cheque, CRA regulations stipulate that in order for you to receive a 2024 donation receipt, the envelope needs to be post-marked 2024.
We wanted to make you aware of the 2 other methods of giving that we currently offer:
- E-transfer – to donorhelp@abwe.ca
- a. Please remember to email us your name, address, and donation designation. We may not be able to accept your E-transfer until we receive this information. Also, we are not able to issue a donation receipt without an address.
- b. Fun Fact: Did you know that we don’t receive your email address when you E-transfer us? Therefore it is important that you email us about your donation.
