Church planting ministries provide the foundation for the Great Commission.

Jesus called us to go and make disciples of all nations. At ABWE, we believe that process isn’t complete until these disciples are gathered into a local community of believers: a church.

Church planting is the heartbeat of evangelism, and it’s at the core of our missions agency. Since the day our first missionary, Dr. Raphael Thomas, arrived in the Philippines, our ministries are geared towards creating new believers, discipling them, and planting local churches so that they can eventually send their own missionaries throughout the world. It’s this same investment that helps our missionaries bring much-needed restoration to communities where once-strong churches are on the verge of collapse.
