South Asia Medical Missions Team Trip
The Position
All trips are subject to cancellation based on country requirements for quarantine and/or status of COVID-19 outbreak. A final decision will be made eight weeks prior to the trip departure.
On this trip, we will be doing simple clinics (no shots nor procedures) at locations connected to a local church ministry, helping to expand their standing and contacts in that community. We will be treating all comers for free, giving testimony through multiple opportunities of prayer with patients.

- At least 2 doctors
- At least 1 nurse
- Other team member do not need to be medical professionals
Trip Description
Ministry in the most populous nation in South Asia.
We will be partnering with another organization and assisting them in doing medical evangelism at strategic outreach points. Our team will be a balance of medical and non-medical personnel. Trip space is limited.
Each weekday, we will travel to a clinic location where we will be joined by a national team that has quietly seen the Good News spread to scores of communities. This region is very open to prayer, so we seek to pray with patients as often as possible. A key component of each clinic is taking patient histories, which is done in partnership with bilingual nationals, and which offers opportunities for prayer. At the end of each day, we take time to debrief and pray for the next day’s activities.
The Need
South Asia includes about 45 percent of Asia’s population, or more than 25 percent of the world’s population. Ninety-five percent of the world’s least evangelized people live in this area of the world and most of the world’s governments that oppose Christianity are also located there. This region includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Sri Lanka, and is home to a variety of people groups, 300 of which are unreached. More than 1.5 billion people live in this region, but only a small percent of the population claim to know Jesus. The rest practice Islam, Hinduism, or Buddhism.
The Impact
Use your medical skills on the mission field to heal people physically and spiritually. In our nearly 90 years of ministry, we have seen compassionate medical care soften hearts to hear the message of the gospel, changing lives for today and eternity. But we can’t do this without you.
