Youth Sports Leaders

The Position

Who says ministry needs to be boring? At ABWE, we believe sharing the Word of God can be fun! As a youth sports ministry leader in Romania, you’ll join a team of veteran missionaries who work within an established framework of churches and church plants. Bring an energy for missions work, enthusiasm for the gospel and a natural ability to reach adolescents to Romania!

As a youth sports ministry leader, you will:

• Demonstrate a sound grasp of Bible knowledge and understanding, and be able to explain the Word of God in a relatable way to teens
• Develop a fun and active sports program that will attract existing church members as well as youth from the local community
• Welcome new members with love and warmth, and explain why accepting the truth of the gospel is the only path to salvation
• Set an excellent example of what a healthy and true Christian lifestyle is, and share your personal testimony unreservedly when asked
• Have a heart for missions work, excellent listening skills and the patience to persevere every day with a smile

The Need

The ABWE missions team in Romania has experienced great success, but there is still more work to be done and not enough believers to accomplish God’s mission. Nearly every country that surrounds Romania is home to an unreached people group, and even within Romania there are thousands of villages where the truth of the gospel is unknown. ABWE’s goal is to bring hope and relief to the pastors and communities who are trying to accomplish so much with so little. We need to encourage a joyful proclamation that spreads from Romania to the ends of the Earth. If you want to work within an established framework of relationships to offer support, training and fellowship to Romania’s servant-leaders, answer God’s call in Romania.
